Cyberpredation is a form of targeted intrusion usually by an anonymous adult against a minor for the purposes of encouraging or engaging in illicit sexual activity. In many jurisdictions, the identity attribute of age of the respective parties is a substantial factor resulting in a serious criminal offense.
