Introduction
Organizations and individual persons have recognized rights or powers to designate information as privileged or sensitive for a wide variety of reasons. These may include government secrets, trade secrets, privacy, or diverse forms of confidentiality. Large bodies of IdM related laws, regulation, standards, and normative practices apply to such information.
