HIGGINS Higgins is an Open source project Consistent user experience for interactions (i.e., authentication) Link data different sources of data using java core that plug-in into an Eclipse Framework:

Arch Components: Client: Browser extension Context Attr Data Source: A context is a data set identified by URIs. A subject can be a person or a device. The data model abstracts elements, such an LDAP, NE point, any source of data. Each one will be a slice of that person. A context provider maps the source to another layer. IdaS access different providers to map data from source. The CP is like a façade. Data Model details: Context and CotextIds could be XRIs Inside there are digital subjects Context is a data set.

Context Data: Nodes and Arcs. Arcs are relationships between digital subjects and are 1st class objects. A node can be a persons, thing, and event group. A subject is represented by a set of attributes. One attribute can be used as a unique identifier. Attributes about attributes are meta-data. The data model is a metadata model. Get onto logic; get the schema described in the same meta model (Owl Meta-data schema unmodified). Each service provider can define each data model. Higgins is an abstract framework from the point of view that can have relationships with other things in other contexts.

I-Card Provider (Provider = Plug-in) is the thing that implements the underline card data.

Token Service: Microsoft can only retrieve a token with WS-trust. A card has pointers to data. Inside the card there is meta-data. There are token services that are remote (i.e., managed cards (service provider)). The card registry is the holder of many cards. The I-Card selector service is to filter the card. WS-Policy is the overall framework being used. More support for policies is needed..

Paul’s ambition: Decouple front-end protocols from back-end protocols.
